Spectators at the stadium were asked to type Sieg (win), Pech (lose) or Remis (draw) into an SMS and send it to 1rstWAP's special number. The votes were recorded by 1rstWAP and a winner later announced on the radio.

Using a part of its Mobile Competition service, 1rstWAP even sent back a "Thank you" reply to all the spectators who voted, to thank them for their vote. The 1rstWAP Mobile Competition application also made sure that each person only voted one time.
