As part of their observation of the month of Ramadan in November 2003, a group of 1rstWAP staff took the initiative and agreed to pool their money in order to provide a gift to the needy in the local community. A local orphanage was selected (Yayasan Al Hasanat) and after consultation with some of the children and management, the 1rstWAP staff agreed to buy a special meal for the kids. With the generous support of the Hoka Hoka Bento restaurant chain, some delicious Japanese-style rice dishes, desserts and drinks were provided to the children.
