Under the headline “You can send free SMS here”, the article published by a portal in Scandinavia, the leading region for mobile technology development and market acceptance, reviewed a range of free SMS services from all around the world. The 31 services were ranked on a scale of 1 to 10, and 1rstWAP was the only service to receive a score of 9 out of 10, outperforming even the well known MTN SMS service which received a score of 8. A significant proportion scored 6 points or less.
